Blue dot on my cybershot w220 digital camera screen?
when i turn the camera on i see a bright blue dot but when i take pictures and upload them on the computer the dot is not there. what could this be?
It’s a STUCK pixel. A dead pixel won’t turn on, a stuck pixel is always on. In this case, one of the blue pixels on your LCD screen is always on, and it can be very noticeable in certain circumstances, such as when you are just turning the camera on. Fortunately, the LCD screen is not the same as the sensor that takes the picture, so your photos won’t suffer from this problem.
