Why are practically all female characters in Disney movies dressed in blue?
Snow White – top part of her dress is blue
Pinocchio – The Blue Fairy
Cinderella – her ball gown
Alice – her whole dress is blue (with a white apron)
Wendy – her nightgown, which she wears during the whole movie, is blue
Sleeping Beauty – her dress is blue during most of the movie
Ariel wears a blue dress for a good portion of her movie
Belle’s main outfit is a blue dress with an apron (a more mature version of Alice’s dress)
Jasmine’s main outfit is technically blue because the teal is more blue than green
Kida’s outfit is blue (from the Atlantis movie)
Even live action females wear blue a lot! A good example is Brandy’s version of Cinderella.
The character in Disney’s new movie, The Princess and the Frog, will be dressed in blue also.
I’m sure I missed others, but you get the idea.

sleeping beauty’s dress is not blue for most of the movie
her beginning ouftit is a white blouse, black vest, and brown skirt. Later on she wears a PINK dress for most of the movie, it is only the occasional blast of magic from merriweathers wand that makes her dress blue.

Belle only wears blue when she is living in the village. At the beasts castle she wears purple, red, green, and yellow gowns.
There’s no reason for all the blue, you’re just over analyzing and bringing up a unimportant comparison. Blue is a popular color, it’s aesthetically pleasing to people which is why it is used so frequently.
Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tinkerbell don’t fit into it either
