Can Set
How can I change the location of Firefox’ 3′ cache? I want to put it on a different drive.?
I’ve installed it on my “F” drive but the profile and all the cache still goes to my “C” drive how can I manually set this location?
Hey Avinashtech,Thanks this helped me alot. I created a virtual ramdrive and installed firefox there and put the cache to the ram drive also and it flies! thx alot.
in the address bar type in:
about:config
and look for the entry of:
browser.cache.disk.parent_directory
double click on that and you should be able to change it. If you
don’t have it, then click on any entry, then do a right click and
select New, String, and enter the above in the first box, and the
location in the second.
