How To Take A Snapshot Of A Windows Computer Screen
Snapshot of a computer screen has increased in significance over the period of time. Today snapshot is widely used in collecting error messages encountered by the system. Moreover taking a snapshot is a matter of few clicks.

Snapshot is the electronic image of the computer screen at any given point and time. The first step of taking a snapshot begins with selecting the screen to be snapped. Irrespective of whether you are on the desktop or you have a web page open or you are on a window, it is possible to take a snapshot of the screen. Thus snapshot is a feature that could be used in any screen of the computer.
Copy the screen and create a snapshot
When the screen is snapped or snapshot, the image gets stored in the memory of the system and needs to be pasted to avoid loss of the snap. Therefore firstly to copy the screen, press the windows key [The key with the windows mark on it] and the print screen key at the right hand corner of the keyboard together. The command will capture the momentary image of the screen as a buffer and now needs to be placed in an appropriate file. It is important that you instantly place the snapshot so that you could prevent loss of the image.
Retrieve the snapshot
The snapshot copied seeks for an image editing software. If the computer system does not possess any image editing software then you will have to retrieve the image on windows paint. To start off with the retrieval click on start, all programs, accessories, paint. After the paint window opens, press the “control” and the letter “V” together. The snapshot will be available as images on the paint window, save the page by clicking on file, save. Name the file and click on Ok. The file is ready to be accessed with the name. There are instances when systems incur errors and we need to get hold of the error message, the snapshot feature could be of great support to store the error. Snapshot is also used in keeping a mirror or clone when using metadata attribute.
