Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 Review: A Camera For Everyone
Compact and lightweight, the Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 camera packs a full line of features into a small package. With a resolution of 16.10 megapixels this camera produces the best photos available today. The Sony lineup of cameras features a full range of functions and modes for all levels of photography. Amateur photographers will enjoy the ease of the point and shoot camera with auto focus, easy to use zooming and automatic exposure settings. More seasoned picture takers can adjust and manipulate the camera for all types of special effects.
The Cybershot DSC-H70 includes the features that users of Sony cameras have come to expect. The stabilization feature will insure minimal shake and flutter to guarantee a clear shot. The wide screen sweep panoramic mode allows wide angle photos with clear and crisp details across the full spectrum. The 10X zoom and digital effects zoom allow the user to closely focus in on details while maintaining a distance from nature and its wonders. This is a camera that allows the user to be creative while capturing the very best photographs.
In addition to being a full feature still camera the Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 is also a video camera that allows the user to capture live sequence movies in crisp definition. Capturing almost thirty frames per second the movie feature on this camera will easily take stunning movies of nature and personal moments. These memories can be captured with audio included. The compressed video and audio are stored in the leafing MP4 format and can be easily transferred to other media for editing.
The sweep panorama feature allows large panoramic scenes to be photographed in several shots by sweeping the camera across the vista. The photos are then stitched together by the camera’s processor to provide a panoramic sweep view. These photos can be zoomed and digitally enhanced with the included editing software to provide stunning nature panoramas.
With a suggested retail price under $230.00 this newest member of the Cybershot family of cameras is quickly becoming the top seller. Sony uses its technology and advanced photography processors to provide a range of features in a camera that weighs less than seven ounces. The camera can easily be held in one’s pocket until it is needed. The recessed shutter button provides assurance that accidental photos of the inside of a pocket will not be captured. The zoom controls are placed for ease of use and the wide screen three inch video display provides accurate viewing of the photograph about to be taken. All in all the Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 camera is a segment leader at a very affordable price.
