Can you get an adapter to put a manual Sigma lens on an EOS body?
My dad has recently gave me all of his camera equipment from yeeeears ago. Most of it is Olympus and Sigma.
Included is a manual focus Sigma 28mm 2.8 and I have a canon eos 450d. I was just wondering if you could get an adapter to put this on my camera..?
Anyone help would be greatly appreciated.
If it’s an Olympus mount then yes. Search eBay for Olympus to EOS adapter and you will find a page of adapters for it. If you can find one that give AF confirm it really helps (your AF points will blink when something’s in focus).
If it’s an FD mount then even with an adapter it wouldn’t be worth the hassle. Image quality suffers an awful lot since the lenses focus is designed to be closer to the film than the EOS and adapter would allow. Just not worth it at all.
