Induction kit with cold air feed OR Panel Filter in original air filter box?
I’ve read a lot about induction kits being worse because the suck in the hot air from the engine, but what about a cold air feed? Won’t that make it more effective?
People prefer to use panel filters because they sit in the original box and are protected from the engine heat, but which is best?
hot air is best for low power settings. Anything except full throttle at high speed. Cold intake gives more power because it is more dense. More fuel air mix, also less preignition allows more spark advance. The best would be two intakes, one cold ram air and one hot air, with an autimatic damper with a switch under the accellerator.
