Why You Should Use a Shower Water Filter

Did you know that two of the largest organs in your body is your skin and your lungs? When you take a shower, and you are not using a shower water filter , your skin and your lungs are absorbing the hot water and steam that you are reveling in. Unfortunately, that hot water and steam contains chemicals – particularly chlorine – which is extremely harmful to you. Prolonged exposure to chlorine can be fatal. A shower water filter , and a bath water filter, will stop the chlorine and other chemicals from leaving your faucet and entering your skin or lungs.

Showering without a shower water filter probably seems fine but it is extremely dangerous. You may not notice any ill effects now, but in the future we believe that chlorine will be one of those chemicals that humankind will look back on and say “if only we knew then what we know now”. There is, after all, a reason that chlorine is part of the harsh cleansing chemical chlorine bleach. Excess amounts of chlorine, when combined with water, becomes hydrochloric acid. And, it was used as a chemical weapon in 2007 in Iraq.
A shower water filter, therefore, is a safe way to enjoy showers today and to prolong your health, and the health of your family for years to come. Simply by replacing your regular shower head with a shower water filter head , and by replacing your bath faucet with a bath water filter, you can dramatically reduce the amount of chlorine entering your body on a daily basis.
Don’t forget that a shower water filter is just part of a much larger picture. Your entire household should be fitted out with filtration systems to ensure that chlorine and other harsh chemicals (either already present in the water table or added later by your municipality) do not pass through any taps and into your cooking or drinking water. Step 1. Get a shower water filter and a bath water filter.
Step 2. Equip your kitchen faucets with their own filtration system.
Step 3. Invest in a pitcher that filters water, as well.
Step 4. Inspect and maintain your system regularly.
