Glass Lcd
How do I know if it’s my glass or LCD screen that’s broken on my iPod?
All of the picture is showing on the screen but there are spider cracks covering the bottom half. Some of it is shattered and falling off, too. I can touch all of the parts on the screen and they are all still working. Is it the glass screen that is broken or the LCD screen? Or both?

It sounds as if just the glass digitizer is cracked. If it were the LCD, you wouldn’t be able to see the images properly or there would be inky “splotches” or colored lines running through it….or it would be totally white or blacked out.
