What are infra red emitting diodes used for?
I have some they are 2 black l shaped, with lights (emitting diodes) on them, and one plug in the size of headphone jack. But when I plug them in there is no light coming from them, is this the way they work?
These are commonly used in remote controls (TV,DVD player etc.)
If you look at one through a digital camera or mobile phone you will see a blue light.
