fuji’s hakugei, and that other move that he used against shirashi in the semi finals where he couldnt get the ball over the net…
dont both just use extreme back spin? so why doesnt that gate keeper move go towards him when the ball lands?
but when he uses double backspin it should BOUNCE towards him, not towards shiraishi… just like the hakugei bounces towards him right away…
it’s true that the hakugei uses extreme backspin but the gate keeper uses uses double super spin. as explained here.. ttp://www.onemanga.com/Prince_of_Tennis/319/04 and i think it’s because when the ball has double super backspin when the opponent tries to cancel out the backspin using topspin,the back spin is so strong that even if the topspin does occur there’s two possiblities:
1.the backspin pulls the ball a little bit and slows it down coz there isn’t enough topspin when the opponent hits it
2.the opponent uses less power while trying to hit the ball using topspin and that makes the ball unable to go over the net(also Fuji hits the ball really hard during his shot)
