Kodak Easy Share Sport C123 Digital Camera

I am a sailor and have lost two point and shoot cameras to the waves and water. When our sailing season is coming to a close in September, my husband always knew what I needed for my fall birthday. I seemed to loose my cell, our family phones and our digitals over board from the cockpit. This just seems perfect to take out when dingy racing. No dry bag needed, maybe just a lanyard around the neck !!!

Here is a new product to take a look at.  It is called Kodak’s great little Easy Share Sport C123 Digital Camera

What iis cool about this Canon Easy Share Sport C123 Digital Camera is that it has this share button that makes sharing your pictures and videos really easy.  And so many folks are intimidated on the process of downloading and uploading.  In seconds you can have photos up and connected to alot of the social networks and email.

This Canon camera has 12 megapixels so you can really get great quality which might allow you to really blow up prints.  The LCD monitor is a great size at 2.4 inches.  It shoots great photos in HD and you can shoot the video with ease.  It has a 5x zoom.

What I will enjoy most is that you can get this camera wet!  It can record life up to 10 feet underwater.  Imagine !  So, it can easily head in the woods with me hiking and the colors will make it easy to recognize in a dark daypack. Pack some AA batteries and you are all set.  

It comes with Easyshare Software and that will really motivate you to print out your pictures, organize them like never before, and reduce red eye and edit with some simple tools.

This just seems like a great little camera for beach and boating. I do small boat dinghy racing and have had to put cameras in a dry bag.  Now I could get one of these, place it on a lanyard and then shoot video as we are running with the wind or jibing!  If we capsize, it would appear that the video and shots would survive.
