Samsung’s 7.5-generation line in Suzhou started: “LCD third pole” shape
Samsung’s biggest investment in China, settled.
May 30, Samsung to invest in China’s first-generation LCD panel production line (7.5 generation) in Suzhou started. The total investment of 3.0 billion U.S. dollars, Samsung holds 60% stake in the joint venture.

The new LCD panel plant covers an area of 570,000 square meters, construction area of 360,000 square meters, the construction of its investment board production line LCD FAB size 1950 × 2250mm, capacity of 100,000 expected / month, mainly produce 40-inch, 42 inch and 46-inch LCD panel, is expected to put into operation in January 2013.
As the largest shareholder, Samsung LCD panel makers responsible for the daily operation and management.
