Women in the Expecting Way, Please Take Off Your Contact Lens (2)
To give birth to a baby, women have to prepare a lot. With all the changes of the body, more attention should be paid in this special period.
For pregnant women, contact lens is not suitable for them, to some extent. During this period, the corner will become thicker and at the same time there will be fewer tears. Therefore the drier surface of eye balls can not stand for any exceeding pressure. A pair of contact lenses does hurt eyes greatly. The best choice is to take off contact lens and change for a pair of glasses, especially in the last three months of pregnancy. If contact lens must be worn in some situations, the time and times of wearing should be decreased correspondingly.
If you wear a pair of glasses in the day, it is a risk choice to change for contact lens in pregnancy period. With some physical changes, eyes are not in the situations as before. For the beginner, it is hard to wear contact lens then. While, if you have worn contact lens for several years, continue to wear in the beginning, as long that there is no abnormal symptoms. It is better to reduce the time. Meanwhile, it is more important to keep contact lens clearly all the time. Consistent with the whole body, eyes are in unstable state. Under this situation, there will be more precipitate and then cleaning work becomes essential. Cornea also becomes less allergic. So for some light damages or inflammations, eyes sometimes can not feel at all. If contact lens is worn continually without any measure, there is the possibility to catch corner inflammation. Some examinations are needed in fixed time, or eyes are in great risk.
Indeed, contact lens should not be worn during pregnancy. Some myopia women with high degree may hate the heavy and thick glasses on the note and ears. There is another way to deal with this problem, having the operation to cure the short eyesight. But the recovery time will be longer for women in pregnancy. Consider this element, first.
From another viewpoint, when the contact lens become uncomfortable any more and there is no abnormality, it is may be a premonition of pregnancy. The delicate the eye is a good indicator for the body. Pay attention to the eyes and give them more care in daily.
