What are some good lens for the EOS Canon Rebel XSi/Canon 450D?
I’m really not a fan of the lens the kit comes with, so I was wondering what lens I should purchase. I will most likely be using this camera for action shots and general use.I’m still a beginner, so help me out here.
I’m a Canon 20D user. I would recommend Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 as a walkabout lens. It’s a very sharp lens, giving you f2.8 and at a fraction of its Canon counterpart, the Ef-S 17-55mm f2.8.
A telezoom would be Canon 55-250 IS, but the main problem with this lens is the colour reproduction is a bit dismal, with greyish hues on it. Well, i guess you get what you pay for. I’ve used a old lens Canon 80-200L f2.8 and i’m addicted to it. Lovely!
