Lens Gears
I’m trying to take portraits with my canon rebel, what kind of lens would be best. ?
I’m unsure what the best lens are for my rebel xti. i need a good lens for portraits and head shots as well as some up close macro work. im planning on getting a ring light but i know my lenses are still lacking.
oh and please don’t recommend some crazy brand new $2000 gear cuz we all know i cant afford it ( if i could i would have it already)
im happy with used gear if it works.
Check out the 50mm f/1.8 prime lens. It’s less than $150 and it’s super sharp and most likely works better than whatever zoom lens you’re using. (most the time prime lenses are always sharper than zoom lenses)
Although if you have more cash on hand you should also check out the 50mm f/1.4
