jvc everio baby death lens?
Can i get a baby death lens for my new camera? it is the jvc everio 40x zoom.
The model number is GZHM30. Here is a link to the camera…

This is the 4th time you’ve asked the same Question, so please click on your Profile “My Activity” tab and look at the other Answers to your previous Questions. And since you are just are just a Level 1 Yahoo!Answers user, you aren’t allowed to post long website links, so they kept getting cut off at the end.
This time, at least, you tried to type in your model number, but from following the HSN link, I first thought they typo’d the JVC model # (there’s no current JVC model as “GZHM30″, but there is a GZ-HM300), but it seems HSN is selling a “closeout” on a 2008 model, the GZ-HM30AUS or GZ-HM30BUS/RUS, etc.
If you had the HM300, it has a 37mm front filter mount, so it WILL take the Opteka “baby death” Platinum-series 0.3x fisheye lens adapter. But you need to make sure you order the 37mm version (the normal kit has smaller adapter rings). On the Opteka website it’s $99.
But since the GZ-HM30 (which HSN is selling) is listed as a “entry level” (low-end) camcorder, it might be like the current GZ-MS230R which has no front threads for a filter ring (or accessory lens).
The JVC Support website had some old PDFs of the HM30-series, but they are all “damaged” and won’t repair or open in Acrobat Reader. If I find a manual with lens thread specs, I’ll update this answer.
