I would think so. I’m not sure of the value of Canon equipment but looking at prices for used equipment on ebay, I would sat that it’s a fair deal.
The XTi goes for about $300-350
The 17-85 ranges from $325-436
The 50/1.8 I found one EF mount at $61 right now.
The 430EX flash looks to sell for $200-250.
That alone, going by the lower range, comes to $885 ($1097 on the high end of the range). Throw in an extra battery, memory cards, sto-fen diffuser, slingshot, and it is quite a deal.
