Do you prefer one over the other?
All backgrounds have their uses.
Paper is available at relatively low prices and in many different colours and widths/lengths.
Chroma-key has become my favorite, painted on the studio wall, in paper rolls or textile.
Muslin comes in both solid and “arty” styles
You can always buy some yardage at a place like Wal-mart or Joann’s. Four yards is usually enough
