How to get NOS 1985 Nissan Sentra Parts?
My father has a 1985 Nissan Sentra that was my grandmothers very first brand new (zero miles!) car. The little silver box has run like a top since new and now has 420,000 miles under its belt, still daily driven. My father would like to restore it to original condition as some of the twenty five year old parts have begun to show their age. Its very hard to find parts for this car though and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get original style parts for this important part of our family.
Are you talking about OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) parts? If so, go to your local Nissan dealership and tell them what parts you may need. They would be your best bet, but it could get a bit expensive, as dealers always are. I would use them for interior or exterior bits and use places like Autozone, O’Reiley’s or Advance Auto for engine, suspension and brake parts.
