is there any other reason than the bios battery for a pc to lose track of time?
This pc lose track of the time when I turn it on it tells me that the time is not set, I changed the cmos battery but not with a new one, I used another one that I had in another mother board that i no longer use, but still no right time, could it be that both batteries are not good? or maybe is something else?
Set your time in the BIOS. Then when it seems to lose it’s time check the BIOS again. If it holds in the BIOS then the problem is with your OS registry. If it resets in the BIOS it is the CMOS battery.
