Power Flash
why does the power light on the motorola vt2442 router flash red?
this wired roughter is something new from vonage but made by motorola. when ever i turn on the router, the power light flashes green and does not stay solid. then when i turn on the modem, it flashes red. what gives? anybody know? need help because the red light scares me. i dont want to mess up my p.c.. i can access the net, just afraid of the flashing red light. it did not always do this. also, i am no longer with vonage but since i needed a router, i just decided to use this one since i was able to keep it and we have 2 p.c.s, therfore we need the router
its a firmware error
