how to change shutter speed on ixus 130 / powershot 1400 is in program mode?
i am doing light painting with this camera.
i is long shutter mode but i cant change the exposure but if i use program mode i cant change the shutter speed…
help me tell me how to change the shutter speed in program mode
or
how to change the exposure in long shutter mode
(additional help required )
tell me how to change the aperture…
there is no manual mode
Forget about program mode (you can’t change anything the way you want) or long shutter mode (equally useless). Use manual mode – there you can set both aperture and time independently to what you want.

Sorry, confused it with another 130, the SX 130 IS. In your case – bad luck. You might try the long time exposure mode, combining it with the exposure compensation (if that’s working in that mode).
If you’re feeling lucky, there’s apparently a very preliminary alpha version of CHDK available for that camera (quote: ‘a development branch that at least boots’). That might give you all the options you need for manual control.
