Do you know of any digital camera that has shutter control?
Im looking for a digital camera in the style of the Nikon coolpix S550.
I want to be able to take blurry pictures like cars passing by and if possible double exposures.

Any digital SLR has shutter control settings – the problem with point and shoots is what you’re experiencing – they automatically try to adjust to what they think you want to take a picture of, rather than what your intended creative result.
I’d recommend getting a basic digital SLR and using a tripod with a shutter release cable. Set the camera to “Manual” and the shutter setting to “bulb” or “B” if you are using a cable, or “Shutter priority” if you’re just using a tripod. This way you aren’t hand-holding the camera body and adding needless vibration to the shot.
Set the shutter speed to 1-10 seconds, iso 100, f/10 or so and play around with shooting cars at night til you get the results you want – it’s pretty easy to do and I’m sure you can pick up on it quickly and get the shot you’re looking for.
I personally us a D200 Nikon – and it has wonderful controls for shooting long shutter speeds.
