Self-dispersible nanoparticles of Silver, Gold, and Platinum

Due to the attraction forces of various physical and chemical nature, including van der Waals forces and liquid surface tension, the individual nanoparticles are inevitable to agglomerate. To take full advantages of nanoparticles, it must be well dispersed to their primary particle size. But dispersing nanoparticles is a complicated process. It is even more difficult to disperse metal nanoparticles. It requires strong background of surface chemistry and considerable experience. Even though great efforts have been made on the dispersing processes, but it is still one of the main technical barriers for applications of nanoparticles for most of users.
In order to assist users who have difficulties to prepare their own dispersions of precious metals, Skyspring Nanomaterials Inc. provides self-dispersible nanoparticles of Ag (15 nm), Au (15 nm), and Pt (5 nm), which are coated with polymer and self-dispersible in various organic solvents and aqueous solutions. Comparing with existing products of dispersions of Au, Ag, and Pt in market, Skyspring’s self-dispersible nanoparticles are easy to use and cost-effective. Whenever users need dispersions of Au, Ag and Pt nanoparticles, they can prepare their own dispersions with variable concentration in different solvents.
