how much protection does crumpler give to your gears?
i’ve got a crumpler 8 million dollar home, it fits my gear well! my other bag is a tenba messenger and when i put my 7d with grip in it there is a bulge showing, unlike the 8 million dollar home where it fits very nicely.
i’ve been thinking lately that maybe i should have gone with a lowepro calssified 200, it has all weather cover and a top zipper for access to your gear. whats bugging me about the crumpler is that its not totally covered on the top, you can see at the top sides of the bag that things can get in there.
for those who have used crumplers, how durable are these bags? how water resistant are these? can water/dust get in those small openings on the sides of the top cover?

Crumplers are good, but I much prefer the Lowepro designs, the built in weather hood is a huge plus point for me.
