How to get bokeh using self timer?
how can u get bokeh if u are using a self timer? also, w/ a digital. i zoom in all the way and it can focus things when i take it, but i cant focus the camera when i use self timer. make sense?
when i focus it to get bokeh, i have to keep clicking the shutter button to get an item focused, but i cant focus myself when im taking the picture with out someone pressing it for me. how can i focus it with out haveing to keep pressing the shutter button with a digital in order to take a self portrait?
The subject has to be in the frame for the autofocus to work. If you are the subject and you are alone you cant use the self timer to focus. Since youre not in position for the photo the camera cant focus on you. You need a camera with manual focus to do this. You would manually set a focus distance trigger the self timer then get into position.
Getting bokeh using the self timer is no different than if you dont use the self timer. If you want bokeh with yourself in the photo you cant do it without manual focus or an assistant to press the shutter for focus.
