Is it true that a USB memory stick corrupting your files can be influenced by the capacity of the memory stick?
For example, if I had a 1GB USB memory stick, would that have a less chance of corrupting all my files than a 16GB memory stick?
If so, please explain why.

no it wont erase your data unless you get a bad flash drive.
just get a trusted brand and it wont matter if you get a 1GB or 64GB.
