i had a dragon fish aka violet goby that just died and the tank got all cloudy.

don’t use extra chemicals… do a good water change, maybe 30%. remember there is always a cause, and chemicals like this just help with the symptoms, they don’t fix the problem.
leaving the filter off for an extended period of time will kill the good bacteria.
