Voigtlander Bessamatic
Pentax “screw mount” (actually, “M42″) mount cameras – which one to get?
I was given a non-working Ricoh KR-5 Super 35mm camera (bad light seals, foam disintegrated) with three lenses and a 2x teleconverter. The lenses and teleconverter appear to be fine but I can’t use the camera until it is serviced. I know I can get an adapter to put these lenses on another camera or get another M42-mount camera. If I get an M42 mount camera they will be older models (unless I can locate a Voigtlander Bessamatic TM) so I think an adapter for a newer model camera might be a better idea. Any recommendations from the fine photographer’s on Y!A??? Thanks to all who provide helpful answers!!!
You’ll need an adapter for your lenses, but they will meter and confirm focus with any of these bodies.
