Make you stay watch clean. Dust and dirt are likely to collect in gaps in the rear of the case or band. Clean the watch occasionally. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe off dirt, perspiration and water in the case and crystal. Avoid direct experience of solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products etc., since they may damage the bracelet, the way it is or the gaskets.
Leather straps look better when they are kept dry. Salt water is very harmful. remember that leather is permeable! Therefore avoid contact with greasy substances and cosmetics.
If your watch has a screw-type crown, be sure to tighten the crown completely, and you take care your watches everyday, some people put their watches as a couple.
