Web Cam Models Vs 900 Numbers who wins?
Most of us remember the 90′s? Right? Well if you remember the 90′s then you remember staying up past midnight to watch your favorite late night show, like David Letterman, and getting bombarded with commercials featuring half naked ladies, usually younger, laying on a bed or couch, staring into the camera, holding a HOUSE PHONE??? Remember those??? Yea!! And asking…are you lonely? Would you like to have some company tonight? I am lonely too!! Why dont you call me!! We can have a lot of fun!!! And of course…she would be using her best, come get you some voice! For only $2 Dollars a minute, I will tell you all my deep…dark secrets…and she would have on way to much make up and her hair would look like a birds nest…and usually bleached blonde!! Am I taking you back? Well thats what it was, all night long until 6 am when the local news started and the slutty ads stopped! Those news people are funsuckers!!!
Anyway back to my point, so here comes the 20th century and web cams are introduced! Wow what a break thru!! You can actually see the person your talking to, right there in front of you and in real time! Thats crazy! But thats what happened! Some genious, and a guy with a bigger bank account then all of us combined, said hey, lets come up with some software so you can actually see the person you are talking to on your cell phone!! WoW!! So as of a few weeks ago, Iphone by Apple has an app for chatting with a web cam model from your Iphone! Whats next? No telling….
So, again another genius, like the guys who own Livecams.com and LiveJasmine.com said hey! We can make money just like the 900 number guys except the guys can actually see the models!! We can charge more, per minute, because you get more, so now most webcam sites are 99 cents to 10.99 Per MINUTE!! Guys all over the world can now watch pretty american girls doing all kinds of fun things on camera!!!!What an Idea!!Needless to say, the guys at Livecams.com and LiveJasmine.com are probably billionaires!
So what are the similarities you ask? They both provide a way for lonely people and what I will call, people who are looking for self gratification, to communicate with other people who will show them attention for money! Lots of money!
The differences are night and day! 900 numbers, you are only stimulated by audio. The person charging the money per minute to “chat”, could only tell you what they where doing to themselves, and I can just about guarantee they where cooking dinner and smoking a cigarette. Maybe a crossword? But anyway, with the web cams, you are stimulated with both audio and visual, two of our major senses, and you can actually see what the model is doing, right there, on your screen, in your computer, at your home, in real time! Technology, gotta love it…
So the winner is…….drumroll……web cams by a long shot!!
The web cam industry is a multi billion dollar industry, yes I said billion…and from what I have heard, the 900 number industry is still going strong as well. So have fun! Enjoy! Just don’t develop a habit…because we all know….rehab is for quitters!!
